Kristel Leisalu leads the Pipedrive engineering team that’s responsible for building an Ecosystem (integration platform, Marketplace). She also works on improving Pipedrive’s engineering career framework.

In her presentation, Kristel talks about how the career framework helps engineers take full ownership of their development and career path and allows managers to support them along in their career path. This framework includes the competencies matrix, the positions model, the feedback system and evaluation. As the evaluation system is based on data, it also helps managers make better decisions.
