Government Office of Estonia’s Coordinator of Green Policy
Kristi Klaas works at the Government Office, where her task is to manage the implementation of the green transition in Estonia. She has been involved in the environmental sector for 20 years, working in different positions at the Ministry of Environment, most recently as the Undersecretary for Climate and Strategic Planning at the Ministry of Environment. In 2014-2018, Kristi worked as a diplomat at the Republic of Estonia’s Permanent Representation at the OECD and UNESCO in Paris, and the Republic of Estonia’s Permanent Representation at the European Union in Brussels. Kristi has acquired a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Tallinn University.
