ABOUT THE PRESENTATION
Transformation of companies on the basis of Leadership, Lean Approach and 6 Sigma
Many companies in the world need significant management system transformations. Such changes should, first of all, decrease the use of compulsion, and focus the management system on the humanistic aspect. Moreover, production effectiveness of many Russian companies should be highly increased.
Many companies in Russia, largely production companies, need to reduce their resources, such as land, business premises, equipment, energy consumption, number of personnel.
The main proposition should become creation, development and application of company intellectual capital. Intellectual capital means a mixture of know-how, human assets as a total sum of competence and motivation, and relationship systems of the company.
We use ideas of “Compactization” that aims at reducing the main resources in value chains, and which are becoming very popular in the recent years. They are based on Lean approach, and their aim is a drastic increase of company effectiveness through reduction of production cycles, etc.
The term "Compactization" is used for the methodology to reduce them in conjunction with the concepts of Lean and 6 Sigma, which allows the reduction of production parameters redesigning production and management processes under the principles of Lean.
A company applying leadership principles to management can benefit in career management, goal-setting, growth of company intellectual capital and this practice has already shown a promising effect in practice of Russian companies.
The report studies examples of transformations using Leadership, Lean production and Quality principles and approaches.
